Facility Updates:

  • Woodlands is not closing. We are committed to our students, families, and staff and are working to ensure a strong and stable future.
  • We are prioritizing clear communication to keep you informed about ongoing developments.
  • Our leadership team is focused on finishing the year strong and preparing for a successful start in the fall.

Board Meeting Updates & Next Steps

At our recent board meeting, we approved a provisional budget that includes:

  • 15 classrooms with 375 students
  • A TA in each classroom for additional support
  • Staff raises for next year

The board has reviewed the lease, with only a few final details remaining before it is signed—most likely this week. While we understand this process may cause anxiety, we assure you that everything is on track.

Our current spending is at 41% of our proposed budget, positioning us for a positive financial year-end.

Transition Planning

  • Virtual town halls are scheduled in the coming weeks to provide updates and answer questions. While some prefer in-person meetings, virtual sessions ensure broader accessibility for parents.
  • The Transition Committee will provide regular updates starting in March as we approach our move in June.

We recognize that transitions can feel unsettling, but our community is strong. Our recent programs demonstrated the importance of gathering together, and we will continue creating opportunities for in-person engagement.
